Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) is a university in South-east Finland which specialises in technology and business studies and has approximately 6000 students and 1000 staff members.
The Faculty of Technology (LUT Metal Technology and LUT Energy) is preparing to fill a professorship through a possible invitation procedure by finding out who is interested in the position. The field planned for the position is
Machine Design with particular focus on the product development of electrical machines.
The position is meant to be filled for a fixed term of five years.
Those interested in the position are requested to submit a résumé/CV, a full list of publications, a description of teaching merits, a list of research projects headed by the candidate, and a plan of no more than two pages on the development of education, research and project work in the field at LUT.
