Associate Professor in Food Marketing and Consumer Behaviour - 193460
The Department of Business Administration at Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences, invites applications for an associate professor position in food marketing and consumer behaviour. The position will be linked to the MAPP Centre for Research on Customer Relations in the Food Sector. MAPP is a first-class research environment dealing with questions relating to the marketing of food and drink, and has research on consumer behaviour and its application in product development and policy formulation as key competence areas.
The position is a 5-year position with an obligation to research and teach. Research activities will be integrated into the research portfolio at the MAPP Centre, and the applicant is expected to take an active role in research projects carried out at the MAPP Centre and to contribute to developing and acquiring grants for new projects. A PhD in business and social sciences and a strong record of publishing in renowned refereed journals as well as excellent abilities to communicate with stakeholders in the food industry and public policy are required. The applicant must have research experience in the consumer behaviour area, and previous work related to food is desirable. The applicant is also expected to have excellent teaching skills and must be able to teach in English.

Qualification requirements
Applicants must possess research qualifications and teaching skills corresponding to those obtained after successful completion of a period of employment as an assistant professor, but equivalent academic qualifications may also be accepted.
Permanent employment as an associate or full professor at Business and Social Sciences requires completion of the supervision course provided by the Centre for Learning and Education at Business and Social Sciences. In case the candidate has not completed the course before commencement of employment, continued employment will be conditional on prompt completion of the supervision course (http://www.clu.au.dk/en).
